Also, the Hampton Zoning Board will meet at 7 p.m. at Hampton Town Hall, the North Hampton School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the school's music room, the NHS Renovation Committee will meet at 11 a.m. in the school's library, today's WHS Technology Forum has been canceled, and today includes a public hearing on State Sen. Nancy Stiles' long-awaited meals and rooms tax bill.
4. This Day in History: On this day in 1965, Malcolm X, an African American nationalist and religious leader, was assassinated by rival Black Muslims while addressing his Organization of Afro-American Unity at the Audubon Ballroom in Washington Heights in New York City.
