Girls' Relay Team Breaks WHS Record by 3 Seconds
Four students recently set a Winnacunnet all-time best in the 4x400.

Winnacunnet High School juniors Julia Schwechheimer and Emma Checovich, sophomore Ann Sheehy and freshman Savanna Spencer made history over the weekend after combining for a 4-minute, 14.56-second finish in the 4x400 girls relay during the 44th Dartmouth Relays.
The Hampton Union has reported that the time broke the school's previous girls' relay team record by roughly 3 seconds, securing a spot for the foursome in the Warriors' record books. The team placed sixth overall at the 44th Dartmouth Relays, which the paper said is one of the oldest track meets in New England.
