Govt. Shutdown Cancels Forum on Seabrook Station Issues
A formal meeting was planned to discuss concrete degradation at the local nuclear power plant.

Submitted by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission
Due to the federal government shutdown, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has cancelled an open house and meeting planned for Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Hampton regarding concrete degradation at the Seabrook Station nuclear power plant.
The sessions will be rescheduled once normal government operations resume.
Further information on the status of the open house and meeting will be posted on the NRC website as it becomes available. More information about the NRC’s reviews of Seabrook concrete degradation can be found on an agency web page devoted to the topic.
