Hampton-Area Students Ready for Destination ImagiNation NH Regionals
The spotlight is on 2,000 students for their creativity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Imagine a competition where small student teams have to blend school subjects with massive creativity without any help — and are judged on the outcome.
Welcome to Destination Imagination, featuring some 2,000 Granite State students who are heading for regional tournaments — March 16 in Nashua and Littleton and March 23 in Kingston and East Swanzey — to compete in the hopes of advancing to the State Finals and ultimately, Global Finals competition.
Many Seacoast towns will compete in the Kingston regional, which will be held at Sanborn Regional High School at 17 Danville Road in Kingston. Click here for last year's regionals coverage.

Thousands of team members from kindergarteners to high schoolers will compete in open-ended, complex challenges that incorporate science, technology, engineering, math, the arts or service-learning with the team’s ability to deliver creative solutions. What makes DI unique is that all solutions, including all ideas and construction must be done SOLELY by team members, and not adults or friends. The teams have been working since the fall to craft their solutions.
Teams that advance in their Challenge and grade level during the regionals will compete at Destination ImagiNation State Finals in Salem next month. The top-scoring teams will then represent New Hampshire against teams from around the world at Global Finals.

About New Hampshire Destination Imagination
New Hampshire Destination Imagination (NH-DI) is operated by the 501(c)3 non-profit NHICC (New Hampshire’s Incredible Creativity Connection). Now in its 32nd year of running extra-curricular creativity-powered programs that extend in-school learning, students in NH-DI programs learn critical thinking, creativity, cooperation, teamwork, communication skills and confidence.
Many adult volunteers learn how to take the same lessons and implement them in the workplace to leverage team innovation. During the summer months we operate Camp Gottalikachallenge, one of the nation’s first creativity camps.
Sign up now for Creativity for the Summer! Camp GottaLikaChallenge. TWO Sessions and ONE LOCATION to choose from! August 4 - 9 & August 11 - 16, Brewster Academy, Wolfeboro, NH. Download an information and registration flyer about the 2013 Summer Camps from http://www.GottaLikaChallenge.org
