Hampton Beach Named No. 9 'Best Boardwalk for Food' in US

A sweet treat has helped Hampton Beach's Ocean Boulevard rise to the top of a prestigious list.

In a post on USAToday.com on Wednesday, Hampton Beach's Ocean Boulevard was named the ninth-best boardwalk for food in the country thanks in part to the "seductive" smell and topping options at Blink's Frye Doe.

The "Best boardwalks for food across the USA" story outlines options at many iconic and popular tourism destinations from around the country, but it's the diverse 191 Ocean Boulevard fried dough stand that really grabbed USA Today writer Erica Rivera while praising the much-lauded Hampton Beach for its food.

"You'll smell the seductive Blink's Fry Doe long before you get to the counter," writes Rivera in her blurb about Hampton Beach. "This boardwalk favorite features piping-hot slabs of fried dough garnished with your choice of 20 different toppings — mix and match to create mild or wild combinations."
