Hampton Beach Seafood Festival Just a Week Away

Get ready seafood- and fun-lovers, as Ocean Boulevard will soon once again be packed with all sorts of activities and delicacies.

Over 50 Seacoast restaurants are currently putting the finishing touches on their mouthwatering menus for the highly-anticipated 24th annual Hampton Beach Seafood Festival, which is just one week away.

The three-day festival, which shuts down a section of Ocean Boulevard and annually draws more than 10,000 people, begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6.

Sao Young, of Lowell, Mass., will attempt to repeat as champion of the event's Lobster Roll Eating Competition, over 80 arts and crafts vendors will showcase their work, local Hampton Beach businesses will hold sidewalk sales and special deals, and a variety of live performances, demonstrations and exhibitions are planned as part of the celebration in addition to hundreds of different food choices and seafood dishes.

The hours for this year's Seafood Fest are as follows:

  • Friday, Sept. 6, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Sept. 7, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
