Hampton Child Porn Suspect Held on $10K Bail
Corey Ferland, of Hampton, was arraigned via video Thursday on child porn distribution and possession charges.

A 2011 Winnacunnet High School graduate was held on $10,000 cash or surety bail following a video arraignment on felony child pornography charges in Hampton District Court Thursday morning.
Corey Ferland, 20, a Hampton man who is being held at the Rockingham County House of Corrections, faces one felony count of distribution of child pornography, one felony count of possession of child pornography, and one count of violation of a protection order.
Ferland is scheduled for a probable cause hearing in district court on Wednesday, March 6, at 11 a.m., although it's possible the case will be bound over to Rockingham Superior Court.

Ferland was arrested without incident on the charges Wednesday after the Hampton Police Department executed a search warrant was executed on his residence.
Ferland is being charged with possession and distribution of images that would constitute child sexual abuse images under New Hampshire statutes, police said. The child pornography charges are being investigated by the Hampton police with the assistance of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The charge of violation of a protection order is a separate incident being investigated by Hampton police.

Lt. Dan Gidley confirmed Ferland's arrest is related to the child pornography entry reported in a recent Hampton-North Hampton Patch police log.
