Hampton Man Charged in Poker Room Robbery, Assault

Bryan Lisio, 26, of Hampton, allegedly robbed the Hampton Falls establishment and beat up a 64-year-old man.

The following is a news release from the Hampton Falls Police Department:

On February 4, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. Bryan A. Lisio, age 26, of Hampton New Hampshire was arrested on Rt 1 in Hampton Falls by the Hampton Falls Police Department with the assistance of the Hampton, Seabrook and Kensington Police Departments. Lisio was charged with one count of Armed Robbery, and two counts of second degree assault. These charges all related to the same incident. The arrest was the culmination of an ongoing investigation into last week’s robbery that occurred at the Poker Room in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire on January 31, 2013, in which a 64 year old man was beaten and then robbed. The victim suffered serious bodily injury to his head and at one point during the assault he was alleged to have been strangled.

Chief Robbie Dirsa commended the investigative work and effort of the officers in such a successful resolution to this violent crime. Without the cooperation of the assisting agencies this crime would have been taken much longer to solve.

Lisio is currently being held at the Rockingham County Jail on $50,000.00 cash. Lisio is set to be arraigned on these charges in the Brentwood District Court on Tuesday, February 5, 2013.
