Hampton Man Arrested for Car Theft
A local man was recently booked on three charges following an incident with a vehicle.
The following entries are excerpts from arrest and call logs supplied by the Hampton Police Department . The information does not indicate a conviction.
MONDAY, JAN. 21
- 8:34 p.m.: Lee D. Fisher, of Hampton, was placed into protective custody while near the intersection of K Street and Ocean Boulevard.
TUESDAY, JAN. 22

- 12:02 p.m.: Kenneth L. Govostes, of Hampton, was booked at the Hampton police station on a warrant for unauthorized use of a propelled vehicle, driving after revocation or suspension, and theft.
- 2:37 p.m.: Fraud reported at 16 Mace Road.
- 4:42 p.m.: Theft reported at Citizens Bank.
- 6:41 p.m.: Justin R. Braley, of Seabrook, was arrested on a bench warrant following a traffic stop at Tri-Rent-All, located at 143 Lafayette Road.
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 23
- 8:31 a.m.: Accident investigated at the intersection of Towle Farm and Drakeside roads.
- 2:36 p.m.: Runaway reported at 17 M St.
THURSDAY, JAN. 24

- 12:14 a.m.: A driving under the influence incident was reported at Hess Gas, but officers were unable to locate the vehicle in question.
- 6:23 a.m.: Theft investigated at 12 Mary Batchelder Road.
- 9:10 a.m.: Theft investigated at 11 Tilton St., Apt. 5.
- 1:14 p.m.: Fraud investigated at 1 Ocean Boulevard, Apt. 6D (Gauron's Motel and Real Estate).
