Hampton Man Indicted for Selling Cocaine to Undercover Police Officer
The Robin Lane resident will also soon be arraigned on heroin and marijuana charges.
A Robin Lane resident will be arraigned in Rockingham Superior Court next week on four drug charges stemming from three different incidents involving police officers in Hampton and Portsmouth.
Jonathan D. Peters, 27, of 19 Robin Lane in Hampton, has been indicted on two counts of sale of a controlled drug and two counts of possession of a controlled drug. Peters is due for arraignment on the charges on Thursday, Jan. 31, according to Rockingham Superior Court staff.
The sale of a controlled drug charges stem from two different cocaine sales — one on Nov. 29, 2011, and one on Dec. 29, 2011 — involving undercover officers in Hampton, according to indictment paperwork. The amount of cocaine Peters allegedly sold isn't specified in the indictments.

The drug possession charges stem from an incident in Portsmouth on Aug. 23, 2012, when police allegedly found Peters in possession of an unspecified amount of heroin and marijuana.
Peters is scheduled to answer to the charges at 1 p.m. on Jan. 31.
