Hampton Man Sentenced on Three Drug Counts
The man avoided a 15-year jail sentence by pleading guilty to illegally selling his prescription pills outside CVS stores.

A Hampton man has been sentenced to one year behind bars for selling his prescription oxycodone outside drug stores in Southern New Hampshire, according to the Union Leader.
Bruce Rubin, 56, with a last known address of 36 Ocean Blvd., had pleaded guilty to three counts of sale of a controlled drug. The Union Leader has reported that Rubin also received a suspended 2- to 4-year state prison sentence as a result of the plea, which helped the man avoid a possible 7 1/2- to 15-year sentence and $200,000 in fines had he been convicted during a trial.
Rubin was arrested earlier this year on two counts of sale of a controlled narcotic drug as a result of a three-month investigation by the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
