Another Major Storm Could Cause Flooding, Beach Damage
There's a storm on the horizon Wednesday night and Thursday morning, and it might not bring good tidings to the Seacoast.
Hampton, North Hampton and the greater Seacoast area could be hit with yet another large winter storm tonight, and meteorologists are forecasting 10-foot storm surges that could more damage to several beaches still recovering from the last few nor'easters.
Meteorologists with WMUR, the National Weather Service and NECN are predicting that rain, high winds, wind gusts up to 40 mph and possibly even some snow could blow into the area Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Other parts of the state are expected to get more snow, but meteorologists say beach erosion, sea wall damage and localized flooding is more likely around the Hampton area.
