Hampton Primary Election: Polls Open 7 A.M.-8 P.M.
Hampton NH primary voting is September 11, 2018. Voters will elect candidates for governor, Congress and the State House.

HAMPTON, NH — Hampton voters will hit the polls Tuesday for the state primary and at the top of the ticket are a gubernatorial race featuring a Seacoast candidate and congressional contests to replace outgoing Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter. There are no local contested legislative races.
Hampton polls will be open for voting Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Marston School on Marston Way.
Shea-Porter, a Democrat from Rochester, is retiring from her First District seat. The Democratic and Republican primaries are crowded — there are 17 candidates running in all.

In the Democratic gubernatorial primary, former Portsmouth Mayor Steve Marchand is up against former State Senator Molly Kelly Current Governor Chris Sununu is running unopposed on the Republican side.
Republicans currently hold the governor's office, Senate and House in New Hampshire. The general election is November 6.
