The purpose of these forums is to investigate the possibility of a common start and end time for all three Hampton Schools. Currently, Centre and Marston Schools begin their day at 8:30am and Hampton Academy begins its day at 7:40am. The board is seeking feedback from parents, staff and students as to the advantages and challenges associated with K-8 bus routes, common start time, and other factors that will help the board make a decision in preparation for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year. Your participation in this process will provide an important perspective, helping to ensure a decision that meets the needs of students. Parents of K-8 students will receive a brief survey via email on March 8th to provide an additional opportunity for feedback.
If you have any questions, please contact David O’Connor at Hampton Academy at 926-2000 or via email at doconnor@sau90.org.
