Hampton Students Ready to Launch Into Space
Space exploration is coming to a beach community not so far, far away.

Third graders at Marston School may be boldly going where many others have gone before, but Thursday is still a special day for a group of eager local students.
Children in both Michele Croteau's and Jason Schrack's classes will orbit a series of eight stations between 9 and 11:15 a.m. as a part of Space Day on Thursday, March 21, and other third grade classes will run the stations in the afternoon, according to Croteau.
Croteau said the students will come to school dressed as space explorers and cosmonauts, complete with space patches they've made for themselves and their crew members, in addition to using control panels they've made to help launch the Hampton elementary school into space.

"Some kids think we are really going into space," said Croteau, who said the interactive lesson will be "cute" and informative.
