Having a Beard Will Score You $1 Red Sox Tickets
Other things you should know today include a heartfelt benefit and a ribbon cutting for a local saltwater fishing park that caters to people with disabilities.

Want to see the red-hot Boston Red Sox play a game in person, but can't swing the full cost of a ticket as the playoffs near?
Get those hair follicles working overtime today and Wednesday and you could score a seat for just $1 for Wednesday's tilt against the Baltimore Orioles, according to NESN.
The good news, though, is that the beards don't even have to be real. NESN has reported that any fan who arrives at Fenway Park with a beard, real or fake, will receive one $1 ticket as a part of "Dollar Beard Night."
More information about the ticket promotion is available here.
