I-95 to Close for Bridge Work
Four days worth of roadblocks will soon temporarily close off parts of the interstate due to a NHDOT project.
Drivers should expect traffic delays next week to a series of short-term road closures and stoppages on Interstate 95, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
NHDOT announced Thursday that crews will begin setting structural steel on the Route 107 bridge that runs over I-95 in Seabrook on Monday, and that the bring work will require roadblocks to be erected at various times over the course of four nights next week.
The night construction will take place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday, March 4, through the night of Thursday, March 7. NHDOT said the work will require periodic stoppages between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on those days.

NHDOT said the closures "should not exceed 15 minutes at any one time," though, and that New Hampshire State Police will use rolling roadblocks to control traffic along I-95 during the shutdown periods.
The work is part of a $6.4 million bridge widening project that will be performed by general contractor R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow.
