Imprisoned Sex Offender Indicted for Heroin, Prescription Drug Possession
Four new drug charges and another sex offender charge have been levied against a man already indicted on two sex offender charges.

A local man in detainment at the Rockingham County House of Corrections has been indicted on numerous new charges based on drugs confiscated from a hotel room the man rented in October.
Joshua Ryan Lamothe, 23, previously of 15 G St., Apt. 23, in Hampton, was recently indicted on four Class B felony-level counts of possession of a controlled drug.
Police allegedly found numerous bags of drugs in Room 315 of the Hampton Village Resort on Oct. 4, 2012, and lab tests indicated the bags contained heroin, clonazepam, hydromorphone and oxymorphone, according to the indictments, which list the following amounts for the drugs:

It's Lamothe's third failure to report charge in the past two years. He was also indicted in September 2012 for allegedly failing to report a new telephone number and was indicted in September 2011 after allegedly creating a Facebook profile without informing police.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt or conviction; rather, it means a grand jury believed there was sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
