Lawyer Doesn't Show for Man Who Ran Down Woman with Car
Brent Pizon, 35, of Hampton, is free on bail as he awaits another court appearance on the felony charge.

A Hampton man's felony arraignment for allegedly attempting to hit a woman with his car was postponed Wednesday after the defense attorney "did not show up" at Hampton District Court, according to court staff.
Brent Pizon, 35, of Hampton, faces one felony count of reckless conduct and one count of violation of a criminal bail protective order after he attempted to injure a pedestrian on Little River Road on Jan. 31. Pizon was released on $500 cash and $5,000 personal recognizance bail following his arrest.
Court staff said no additional court appearances had been scheduled for Pizon as of Wednesday afternoon.

Police have said Pizon knew the woman, and that Pizon attempted to injure her with his car after he saw she was walking on the opposite side of Little River Road around 2:15 p.m. on Jan. 31.
Hampton Police Lt. Dan Gidley has said the car didn't hit the woman or cause damage to any property in the area. Pizon allegedly fled the scene after the woman ran to a witness in a vehicle parked on the side of the road.
