Monday Essentials: Grilling Championship, 9/11 and More
This week's Monday Essentials also includes the start of a partial closure of a major road and the final report about a notable project.

Happy Monday, Hampton and North Hampton. Here are five important things coming up this week:
1. The anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorism attacks is Wednesday, and several Seacoast communities will join American Legion Post 35 in a series of remembrance celebrations.
Among the events is a solemn ceremony to add five new names to Hampton's Global War on Terrorism Monument.
2. Put those grilling skills you've been developing all summer to the test this weekend in North Hampton at the second annual Great Grillin' Contest.
3. The North Hampton Conservation Commission will discuss Tuesday night the findings of lab tests conducted as the result of the recent use of fecal bacteria-sniffing dogs to find sources of contamination around North Hampton beaches.
4. North Hampton selectmen will review, vet and discuss the municipal complex project final report Monday night.
5. Expect it to take a little longer to get around Hampton and Hampton Beach for the next two months thanks to a detour and closure that starts today.
