A local man is facing numerous felonies and misdemeanors after allegedly charging into his ex-girlfriend's Newmarket home and making armed death threats to her and her new boyfriend, according to SeacoastOnline.com.

Brian Callahan, 25, of 827 Lafayette Road in Hampton, allegedly brandished a BB pistol, had a 5- to 6-inch butterfly knife and ski mask on him, and was "highly intoxicated and belligerent" when he made the threats at an Exeter Road home in Newmarket on Dec. 21, according to SeacoastOnline.com. SeacoastOnline.com has reported the ex-girlfriend's 6-year-old daughter was home and "traumatized" by Callahan's actions, for which he has been charged with burglary, two counts of threatening to commit a crime, two counts of simple assault and one count of resisting arrest.

Callahan was held on $10,000 cash bail after waiving a probable cause hearing Tuesday in Brentwood District Court, according to court staff.
