Man Arrested for Aggravated DWI After Beach Hit-and-Run

A Maine man was stopped outside a Hampton Beach business after fleeing an accident he allegedly caused while driving drunk.


FRIDAY, SEPT. 13

  • 11:50 a.m.: Assault investigated at Winnacunnet High School.
  • 2:04 p.m.: Michael Heath, 42, of Newmarket, was transported to the Rockingham County House of Corrections for one count of false personation.
  • 2:49 p.m.: Theft investigated at Winnacunnet High School.
  • 6:51 p.m.: Lance Palmer, 44, of Auburn, Maine, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and conduct after an accident after Palmer was allegedly responsible for a hit-and-run accident. Cristy's Pizza at 1 Riverview Terrace is listed as the nearest address for the arrest.
  • 9:41 p.m.: Disorderly conduct investigated at the Hampton Arms Apartments.
  • 11:08 p.m.: Zachary J. McKinnon, 25, was charged with disorderly conduct at Cristy's Pizza and placed into protective custody.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 14
  • 12:03 a.m.: Assault investigated at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom.
  • 1:02 a.m.: Domestic incident investigated on Winnacunnet Road.
  • 9:20 a.m.: Criminal mischief investigated on Bradford Avenue.
  • 11:19 a.m.: Julie Andrews, 41, of Dover, was charged with driving after revocation or suspension and a misdemeanor count of operating with a suspended registration following a traffic stop near 210 Ashworth Ave.
  • 1:55 p.m.: Assault investigated at Sea Dip Motel.
  • 11:41 p.m.: Arkadijs Petkuns, 32, of Newburyport, Mass., was placed into protective custody following a disorderly conduct incident at McGuirk's Ocean View.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 15
  • 12:51 a.m.: Ryan Belanger, 38, of Manchester, was charged with driving after revocation or suspension following a traffic stop near 210 Ashworth Ave.
