Man From Maine Accused Of Driving 116 MPH On I-95 In Seabrook, NH State Police Say
Romario Linton of Berwick, ME, was arrested Wednesday morning after crashing a Volkswagen SUV and fleeing the scene.

SEABROOK, NH — A man from Maine is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Thursday after being accused of driving 116 mph on Interstate 95 and fleeing the scene of a crash.
Around 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday, a trooper patrolling the Interstate reportedly saw the driver of a 2025 Volkswagen Atlas SUV speeding on the southbound side of the highway. The vehicle was clocked at 116 mph in a 65-mph zone, state police said.
“(The) trooper attempted a traffic stop, but after initially slowing down, the driver sped up again and exited the highway at Exit 2,” a report stated. “Then, at the Hampton Side Toll plaza, the driver made an abrupt U-turn, re-entered I-95 southbound, and continued until Exit 1, where the driver lost control of the Volkswagen, struck a delineator post, and stopped with a deflated tire.”
