Monday Essentials: Town's Recycling Policy to Get Teeth?
A large number of projects, major court dates, free movies, volunteer opportunities and more are on tap this week.

Happy Monday, Hampton and North Hampton. Here are five important things coming up this week:
1. Packed agenda Monday night: Hampton selectmen will address a variety of subjects, including a proposal to take care of an issue that has been in one selectmen's crosshairs, a project to bring sewer lines to the west side, a public hearing about increasing the fees for a town service, a major purchase, and more.
2. Many court appearances: This week's Hampton-relevant hearings and arraignments include a probation violation hearing with a sexual fetishist who again has tried to trick caregivers into changing his dirty diapers, probable cause hearings for two alleged Robin Lane heroin dealers, and a probable cause hearing for a masked woman who attempted to rob her ex-boyfriend's home.
3. Help the beach: Friends of North Hampton Beach will be participating in the annual New Hampshire Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. The cleanup will be held in conjunction with the International Coastal Cleanup, the world's largest volunteer event on behalf of the oceans, according to the Friends of North Hampton Beach.
4. Catch a free movie: Lane Memorial Library is playing two free showings of the gritty movie "Mud" this week. The first is at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, and the second is at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
5. Four bands play the Ballroom this week: Hinder, Candlebox, Charm City Devils, and Open Air Stereo will all take the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom stage on Saturday night.
