New Restaurant Takes Big Honors at Pizza Bowl
There were numerous winners during the highly-successful sixth year of a popular Hampton Rotary fundraiser.
Local pizzerias put their best pies to the test Sunday during the 6th annual Hampton Rotary Pizza Bowl at Winnacunnet High School, and, as usual, the big winners were the hundreds of stomachs that got a chance to try all the delectable options as part of a good cause.
Hampton Rotary, which according to President John Nyhan raised over $4,500 thanks to a packed two-hour event that he said had roughly 450 people at one point, also awarded numerous awards to the participants.
One of only two businesses to win multiple awards was the Flatbread Pizza Company, which hasn't yet opened its new Hampton location on High Street.
