A building permit has been filed for North Hampton School's new educational greenhouse, and individuals involved with the project are eyeing an August start date for the project.
Bob Copp, a member of the committee overseeing the greenhouse project, said the money has been fully raised to cover the $60,000 needed to construct and set up the metal and polycarbonate greenhouse, which was the biggest hurdle for the project.
"I'm kind of excited about that," said Copp.
Copp said the committee is still pursuing funds, though, because of the costs to "outfit" the inside of the greenhouse. The greenhouse will be heavily incorporated into the school's curriculum.
