Throwback Named One of Bon Appetit's '10 Favorite Nanobreweries' in US

The accolates and positive feedback continue to pour in for North Hampton's Throwback Brewery, as the relative newcomers to the world of professional nanobrewing have been named one of "bon appétit" magazine's "10 Favorite Nanobreweries in America."

Throwback, started in 2010 by "shop local"-focused co-owners Annette Lee and Nicole Carrier, is listed eighth on the national food and drink publication's list, which also includes Bunker Brewing Co. of Portland, Maine.

The distinction caps a big year of growth for Throwback, which purchased the historic Hobbs Farm in June with the hopes of moving operations over to a location that will allow Carrier and Lee to grow their own ingredients and give customers a "total beer experience." Carrier and Lee said they also hope to one day be able to add food to their tasting room and turn the property into a brewery bed and breakfast.
