Susan Erwin gained one vote through Friday's recount of the Hampton cemetery trustee race, a recount that didn't change the overall outcome of Erwin's re-election campaign. Alan Jones requested a recount last week for the three-year position after Erwin defeated Jones 873-857 at the polls on March 12. Town Clerk Jane Marzinzik said the recount, held at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Town Hall, changed Erwin's total votes to 874 and reduced Jones' to 856. North Hampton's recount on Article 21, which was scheduled after the received a tie 504-504 vote on March 12, will be held at 5 p.m. Monday.
