Repeat Offender Busted for Selling Stolen Electronics on Craigslist
Adam Higgins was also caught with drugs not long after his release on bail for similar crimes in a different town.

A Seabrook man is facing numerous charges after being caught allegedly trying to sell items on Craigslist to undercover Concord police officers.
Adam Higgins, 24, was arrested at 3 p.m. on Sept. 2, and charged with receiving stolen property, possession of controlled drugs, possession of drugs, and default or breach of bail conditions, all felonies.
According to the arrest report, the victim of a theft reported to police that he thought that items stolen from him were for sale on Craigslist.

The officer found the items posted in the Boston/Merrimack section of the site under electronics. The items, two subwoofers and an amplifier, were being sold for $350 or best offer.
The alleged victim in the case offered information about the items to prove they were his, including stating that there was fraying on a box and damage on the carpet of one of the speakers. He also reported a missing radar detector.

The officer then called the person with the ad and spoke about the items and the two agreed to meet at Best Buy on D’Amante Drive in Concord to talk about a sale.
Officers staked the parking lot out in plainclothes and an unmarked cruiser, according to the report, while waiting for the man to show up.
The officer waited for the man, who was 90 minutes late, to arrive at the scene. Eventually, his Honda Accord drove up, with a woman in the passenger seat.
The man, later identified as Higgins, spoke to the officer, who reportedly saw the speakers and made a signal to undercover officers that the speakers were a match to the ones the victim said were stolen.
The officers spoke to Higgins about the investigation and he allegedly denied stealing the items, reportedly stating that he bought them from a friend two weeks before.
Higgins then reportedly agreed to a search of the vehicle and the radar detector was allegedly found in the trunk of the car.
In the glove box, officers allegedly found an orange pill wrapped in cellophane and on the floor of the car, a straw with white residue. Higgins was then arrested.
Later, officers found out that he was out on bail from the Bow Police Department on Aug. 14, and a breach of bail charge was added. Higgins refused bail and was arraigned on Sept. 3.
In mid-August, Higgins, then living in Webster, was arrested in Bow and charged with possession of drugs, criminal trespass, prowling, attempt to commit theft from a motor vehicle, and three counts of receiving stolen property, according to the Concord Monitor.
Christine Murray, 27, was also arrested at the time. According to a report, a homeowner in the town called police after reportedly seeing someone rummaging through his Plymouth Horizon, which was parked under a carport. Police later found Higgins and Murray hiding in the woods.
