Sunday was the last chance to view this year's entries in the <a href="https://hampton-northhampton.patch.com/groups/summer/p/jara-wins-sand-sculpting-competition-for-2nd-straight-year" rel="nofollow">annual Hampton Beach Master Sand Sculpting Competition</a>. Tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of beachgoers come to Hampton Beach each year to view the masterpieces. The sculptures' construction isn't the only popular part of the event, though, as droves also flock to Hampton Beach to see heavy machinery effortlessly level the works much like a strong wave topples amateur sandcastles.
