School Seeks 4,420-Square-Foot Addition

The North Hampton Planning Board’s Application Review Committee (ARC) will meet on Monday, May 20, 2013, at 3:00pm at the Town Hall, 231 Atlantic Avenue to review and discuss the following application: Case #13:08 – Brent and Maria Flemming, Applicants and Owners of Imprints Day School, 331 Exeter Road, Hampton, Falls, NH 03844, have submitted a Site Plan Review Application for a proposed 4,420 square foot addition to the commercial building (day school) with associated parking and driveway. 3. What Else Is Happening Today? Should North Hampton deactivate/remove streetlights to save money? Selectmen will host a public hearing during a 7 p.m. meeting at North Hampton Town Hall to gather input on the cost-cutting plan, and the meeting is also expected to include updates on the municipal complex plan and the town's master plan.

Hampton selectmen will also meet tonight. Their session will take place at 7 p.m. at Hampton Town Hall.

4. This Day in History: On this day in 1873, San Francisco businessman Levi Strauss and Reno, Nevada, tailor Jacob Davis were given a patent to create work pants reinforced with metal rivets, marking the birth of one of the world's most famous garments: blue jeans.
