Seafood Fest, Sarah's Ride, 'Bring Pink to the Beach' This Weekend

One of the busiest weekends of the year has plenty to offer to Seacoast residents looking to have some fun or do some good.

Looking for something fun to do on the Seacoast this weekend? Here are some ideas:

1. Hampton Beach Seafood Festival:
Restaurants from all over the Seacoast will be serving up their best clam chowders, lobster rolls, fried clams and many other delectable items to a packed Hampton Beach during this weekend's three-day Hampton Beach Seafood Festival.

The 24th annual festival is the unofficial celebratory end of the summer season, and a lobster roll eating competition, a variety of live entertainment, games and displays are also on tap. More information can be found here.

2. Sarah's Ride: The fourth annual Sarah's Ride, a motorcycle ride to benefit a cancer fund named after the late Portsmouth Firefighter Sarah Fox, starts at Harley-Davidson Shop of Rochester at 9 a.m. Saturday and ends with a big noon-to-3 p.m. celebration at Seacoast Harley-Davidson in North Hampton.

3. Pink the Beach: Toss on some pink clothing and gear and head over to Summer Sessions Surf Shop in Rye on Sunday for the second annual "Bring Pink to the Beach," a dancing and learn-to-surf event that raises money for cancer research.

More information about the event, hosted by Zumba with Marianela and Vive La Dance and Fitness, is available here.

4. Two Shows in Downtown Portsmouth:
The Music Hall in Portsmouth will present the 19-piece New Orleans-style orchestra and cabaret show, "Vaud & The Villains," at 8 p.m. Saturday, and The Butler Brothers DJ Extravaganza will rock the Press Room in Portsmouth at 9 p.m. Saturday.

5. Wine and Cheese Tasting: The Cornucopia Wine and Cheese Market on Front Street in Exeter will host its complimentary wine and cheese tasting from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.

Also, Seacoast Republican Women will host their annual Chili Fest, which will feature a possible presidential candidate.
