State Police to Train on Seacoast Thursday, Friday

There will be an increased police presence at a local school this week.

New Hampshire State Police will conduct a two-day training session at Hampton Falls' Lincoln Akerman School, which is located in the area of Routes 88 and 1, on Thursday and Friday.

Hampton Falls Police Lt. Tom Boynton said the training will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, and that the sessions are closed to the public.

"There will be many State Police cruisers at the school, and you may even see or hear some of the training scenarios," said Boynton in an e-mail. "This is training is for law enforcement only so we ask that you do not go to the school."
