TD Bank in Hampton Robbed – Again

Suspect demanded money, then fled into the municipal lot across the street.

The TD Bank in Hampton was robbed April 20, the second time in a week, according to Hampton police.

Police said a man walked into the branch at 40 High St. at about 2:50 p.m. and passed the teller a note demanding money. A weapon was not shown. The lone suspect then fled the bank, running into the municipal parking lot across the street and out an alley leading out to Route 1.

He discarded several items of clothing along the way, which police recovered in their investigation.
