Seabrook Mom Held Kids Down, Told Them Bleach Was 'Medicine'

Wendy Wright, 33, allegedly told police she "really love[s]" her kids, but wanted to "save them from everyone else."

New details emerged Monday in the case against a local mother who allegedly forced her children to drink bleach, including information that the mother held the children down and told them she was feeding them "medicine," according to the Union Leader.

Wendy Wright, 33, of 15 True Road in Seabrook, waived a probable cause hearing on two counts of attempted first-degree assault — charges prosecutors have said could be changed to attempted murder — in Hampton District Court on Monday, according to court staff.

The Union Leader has reported that the police affidavit outlining details of the June 18 medical aid call, during which the bleach incident was discovered, were made public after she waived Monday's hearing. Among the newly released details are information indicating Wright also drank bleach and that she told police "I don't want to live" and "I really love my kids but I wanted to save them from everyone else," according to the Union Leader.
