3 People Accused Of Felony Reckless Conduct Involving Children
Police say they found "deplorable" conditions in a Manchester apartment that had 5 children in it. They face felony indictments.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Hillsborough County Grand Jury has indicted three Manchester residents on felony charges in connection to an investigation of the living situation of five young children.
Manchester police called the conditions “deplorable” that the five children were found to be living in at an apartment at 190 Spruce St. Police said they found the apartment had trash covering the floor, flies, and bugs on the ceilings and walls. They also said in a statement there were feces and moldy food by the beds of the children who range in age from 2-years-old to 6-years-old.
The children were immediately removed from the apartment by authorities and taken to a safe location.

On Friday, the children’s parents Eddie King, 44, Alicia Washok, 37, and Lori Harmon, 62 the maternal grandmother, were indicted on multiple charges. All three face five counts of felony reckless conduct for allowing the children to live in an apartment scattered with both human and animal feces. The conditions according to court paperwork are known to cause serious bodily injury or death.
The three people also are each charged with two counts of second-degree assault for neglecting two of the children so much that they lost teeth and required extensive dental work. The charges each carry a penalty of 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison and up to a $4,000 fine.

King faxes an additional charge of first-degree assault alleging he shot one of the children in the chest with a pellet gun. Police say the projectile became lodged in the body of the child. This charge carries a penalty of 7 1/2 to 15 years in prison and up to a $4,000 fine.
A court date for the three people indicted has not been scheduled at this time.
