Ongoing efforts are taking place to inform the public of air pollution monitoring in New Hampshire, which is the reason for the station's showcase.

The station will be located to the left of the Moose Hill Road entrance on Pillsbury Road.

The facility has been operating since 2011, and is considered the flagship air pollution monitoring station for NHDES.
