Ann Romney Events for Monday Cancelled

Ann Romney events scheduled for Derry and Manchester on Monday have been cancelled in anticpation of Hurricane Sandy.

The campaign issued a statement this afternoon regarding the cancellation:

Ann Romney’s events tomorrow will be cancelled due to the concern for the well-being of residents in the path of Hurricane Sandy. The Romney campaign’s bus will be used for relief efforts throughout the East Coast.

The wife of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has originally scheduled for a meet and greet at the Derry Victory Office followed by a rally at the McIntyre ski area-lodge.

The appearance was scheduled a day before Mitt Romney is scheduled to appear at a rally in Milford.

According to the campaign, that rally will also be cancelled due to the hurricane.
