Does Londonderry Have a Fireworks Show?

Here are five things you should know today in Londonderry.

1. No fireworks in Londonderry, but ... Derry's Fourth of July fireworks will be held on Thursday at dusk (approximately 9 p.m.), with the best suggested viewing areas along Tsienneto Road, Hood Commons, Folsom Road and Crystal Avenue.

2. One day delay
. Londonderry trash pickup will be delayed one day for the 4th of July holiday. Thursday's pickup will be Friday and Friday's pickup will be Saturday. As always, all trash should be placed curbside by 7 a.m.

3. The weatherman says ... Rain and thunderstorms are likely today as the forecast, according to Weather.com, calls for a 60-percent chance of precipitation and a high of 82 degrees.
