MANCHESTER, NH — One person is dead of a stab wound to the chest, and another is in the hospital with injuries from the same incident Sunday morning.

NH Senior Assistant Attorney General Susan Morrel said in an interview outside of Manchester Police Department headquarters that the victim killed from the stab wound was Siidi Dhurow, 22, of Manchester.

NH Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Mitchell Weinberg, conducted an autopsy of Mr. Dhurow’s body. Dr. Weinberg determined Mr. Dhurow’s cause of death to be a stab wound to the chest and the manner of death, homicide.

Authorities originally reported the death involved a shooting, however, according to Morrel, there were multiple incidents which happened in the same area. There was a shooting, a car accident, and two people injured in a stabbing incident, one fatally.

The stabbing incident appears to have occurred at Lowell and Beech streets. A large amount of blood could be seen on the sidewalk, street, and granite wall in the area of a home.

Morrel said while police were on scene at a two vehicle accident at Union and Lowell streets, a car pulled up with Dhurow inside, suffering from an injury. He was rushed to the Elliot Hospital by AMR ambulance and MFD firefighters where he died.

A second subject was treated at the Elliot Hospital for a non-life threatening injury to his neck Sunday morning. The second subject's injury occurred in the same area of Beech and Lowell streets.

The NH Attorney General's Office said it has not been determined if this injury is related to the death of Dhurow or if the injury was sustained as a result of a second criminal act. Morel mentioned in the interview both males suffered from stab wounds.

NH AG Senior Asst Morrel said a shooting incident also happened in the same area of the accident and stabbings. When asked if it could have been confused with fireworks, Morel confirmed ballistic evidence was found. She confirmed evidence of the shooting was found and processed by MPD.

According to the Attorney General’s Office at this time it does not appear the accident had anything to do with the stabbing or shooting incidents. Morel said it is very unusual to have so many incidents happen in the same area, and in such a short window of time.

The Manchester Police Department is investigating all three events. If anyone has information about these incidents, they are encouraged to contact the Manchester Police Department’s Crime Line at 603-624-4040.
