Guinta Visits Ink Spot on Jobs Tour [VIDEO]
The stop was the first of three business visits in the state on Oct. 10
Following up on his Oct. 9 debate with Democratic opponent Carol Shea-Porter, U.S. Rep Frank Guinta (R-NH) swung by Ink Spot/Monarch Technology Solutions in Derry as part of a jobs tour around the sate.
The ink and toner refill service business is one of 18 solely owned and operated by Michael Lynch. All are set up in locations of other businesses.
According to Lynch, many are computer repair shops or postal centers. Thirteen of the locations are in N.H.

Jim Wynkoop, owner of Monarch Technology Solutions, told Guinta that there has been an uptick in business in the last six weeks, which he attributes to the election season and anticipation of a Mitt Romney win in the general election next month.
"It's encouraging to hear that there is some modest growth," Guinta said. "It's interesting to also hear what you customers are saying in terms of why, in anticipation of an election. But the reality is, regardless of who wins, we've got to have policies in place that are designed for small business."

Guinta said that pro-growth policies are needed to give small business owners "predictability in the tax code, in the Affordable Care Act (and) in the regulatory environment."
Wynkoop said that he recently moved out of a warehouse in Auburn, explaining that it made sense to have a facility in Derry to cater to walk-in computer repairs.
"When we were solely commercial we didn't have any walk-in traffic, it was all field work" he said. We started getting a lot of consumers at the business location saying 'where do we take our home computers?' Logicially I don't want to tell them to take them some place else so we would take them in."
Guinta later visited Thurston Marina in Laconia and LAARS Heating Systems in Rochester, where he further outlined his 'GRANITE' job recovery plan.
