Images on iPad Led to Child Porn Arrest
A Londonderry resident was arrested on Dec. 14.

A Londonderry man arrested on five counts of child pornography last Friday allegedly had the images on his iPad, according to Londonderry Police.
Jeffrey Allen Velliquette, 42, of 37 Heritage Lane was arrested just after 1 p.m.
"Basically we got a tip that this guy may be in possession on his computer of child pornography," said LPD Lt. Tim Jones.

Since that wasn't enough for police to gain probable cause for the arrest, investigators visited Velliquette's home.
Jones said that as they spoke with him, he made some admissions that allowed the investigators to develop some probable cause.

After executing a search warrant, those investigators looked at some of the images on Velliquette's iPad.
Jones did not speak to how many photographs were on the device or the nature of the images.
It is not presently known whether Velliquette has a criminal history.
The N.H. Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is part of the investigation.
Velliquette was released on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on Jan. 7.
