It's Kids Night at Londonderry Old Home Days!

Here are five things you should know in Londonderry today.

1. Kids, movies and fun! The 2013 Londonderry Old Home Day celebration kicked off yesterday and runs through Sunday. Today is Kidz Night & Movie Night with appropriate entertainment for families with children ages 10 and under. Activities include, face painting, bounce houses, Bektash clowns, a roaming raceway and more. The festivities will be followed by an age-appropriate movie on the Common. Find additional details here!

2. Back in an hour.
If you arrive at Londonderry Town Hall between 12 and 1 p.m., you may have to wait a bit as it will be closed for that one hour today.

3. It's that time of year.
That's right, it's back-to-school time and Londonderry Patch has you covered! Find bus routes, backpack basics and more in our exclusive Londonderry back-to-school section.

4. The weatherman says ... Another lovely, sunny summer day on tap. Forecast calls for sunny skies and a high near 78. Tonight, mostly clear with a low around 53.

5. TIF me, maybe? The Town of Londonderry now has a site set up on its website for the new proposed Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District, which is aimed at upgrading 1,200 acres of industrial property around Pettengill Road, between the Manchester-Boston regional airport and Route 28.
