Here are five things you should absolutely know in Londonderry today!

Celebrate National Night Out tonight! Tonight is National Night Out across the country. The annual event, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), began in 1984 as America’s Night Out Against Crime in "an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back," according to NATW's website.

2. The weatherman says ... The beautiful weather continues today as Weather.com is calling for partly cloudy skies with a high of 80 degrees and a 10-percent chance of rain.
