DERRY, NH - Ivanka Trump and U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin paid a visit to Derry on Tuesday to take part in a town hall discussion that focused on the president's tax plan. According to WMUR, pair took questions from the crowd at the Derry Opera House. The discussion was moderated by former Gov. John H. Sununu.

When asked how the Trump tax bill would specifically create jobs, Treasury Secretary Mnuchin said it includes the lowest tax rate for small businesses since the 1930's.

"I think people know that small businesses are a driver of economic growth, of course large businesses are a big driver but small ones are drivers of economic growth, particularly here in New Hampshire," he said.
