Londonderry Cops Seek Tips After Chase Road Hit-And-Run

A woman was struck while walking on the side of the road around 7 a.m. on Friday. Police are requesting witnesses to come forward with info.

LONDONDERRY, NH — Police in Londonderry are investigating a hit-and-run accident on Friday and are asking for the public’s help.

Around 7 a.m., a woman walking on Chase Road was struck by a driver while walking along the side of the road. Londonderry police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the area after receiving the report of the pedestrian struck by a vehicle. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe the person involved in the hit-and-run may not know they struck the woman, according to a post on Facebook.

Homes in the area have submitted video surveillance footage, police said. Evidence left at the scene was also examined as part of the investigation.

Anyone around 24 Chase Road who may have seen the incident, has seen a vehicle with fresh damage, or lives in the area and has security video was asked to contact police. Immediately.
