Londonderry Man Accused Of Using Axe To Cause $12K Damage To Cars
Police say Raymond Faucher III, 34, of Londonderry was angry when his car wouldn't start, and used an axe to smash 11 cars in a parking lot.

MANCHESTER, NH — Thursday at approximately 3:30 a.m., Manchester police responded to the Southside Tavern parking lot on South Willow Street. A caller reported there was a male hitting cars with an axe.
Police said when officers arrived, they located the suspect, Raymond Faucher III, 34, of Londonderry. Faucher was holding an axe and dropped it when he saw police. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with criminal mischief.
In court documents from his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court, it was disclosed that his Toyota Prius parked in the parking lot would not start. While waiting for AAA to come to assistance, he grew "madder and madder."

Court paperwork said Faucher retrieved a long-handled axe and struck car windows and mirrors shattering them. Eleven cars were damaged and about $12,000 in damage was caused, police said. Manchester Police Spokesperson Heather Hamel said the cars belong to Enterprise Rental Car.
Judge Amy Messer ordered Faucher held for a psychiatric examination. Messer said if treatment is required, he can be released for treatment, otherwise he will be held on preventative detention.

In June 2019, Faucher was indicted in an incident involving assault on a police officer and a hit and run accident In October 2014, Faucher was accused of waving a gun during a road rage incident.
