Londonderry Man Seriously Injured In Hudson Crash On Robinson Road
The 21-year-old struck a pole near Hudson Speedway. Crews worked to extricate him and transported him to a Boston Hospital
HUDSON, NH - Hudson Police and Fire responded to the area of Robinson Road in the vicinity of Christine Drive Tuesday for a report of a single-vehicle accident.
On arrival at 4:43 p.m., responders found a large pine tree down in the road and a vehicle that had stuck a utility pole.
The occupant of the vehicle was found to be heavily entrapped in the vehicle. Firefighters used multiple rescue tools for an extended time. The roof and driver-side doors were removed to free the sole occupant of the vehicle.

A significant storm was occurring before the accident and hampered rescuers as they worked in challenging weather conditions.
A trauma team at a Nashua hospital was activated and later taken to Boston for further treatment.

Hudson Police identified the involved vehicle as a 2020 Hyundai Sonata being operated by Alex Giordano, 21 of Londonderry.
Through the initial investigation, it was determined Giordano was traveling southbound on Robinson Road at the time of the incident. The cause of this collision is still being investigated by the Hudson Police Crash Reconstruction Team. Police say Impairment does not appear to be a factor at this time.
