Londonderry Police Seek Tips Connected To Gas Station Knife Robbery Case

Updated: A man was accused of displaying a knife and demanding cash at the Route 102 gas station on Nashua Road on Tuesday afternoon.

LONDONDERRY, NH — Police in Londonderry are asking for the public’s help after a gas station was robbed on Tuesday afternoon.

Just past 5:15 p.m., a panic alarm was activated at the Route 102 gas station at 7 Nashua Road. Officers were sent to the scene while dispatchers spoke with a store employee to confirm a robbery had taken place, Lt. Garrett Malloy of the Londonderry Police Department said.

“According to the employee, the suspect entered the store, displayed a knife, and demanded cash from the register,” he said. “The suspect (was) described as a white male of medium build with a short beard, wearing a yellow shirt or a yellow bandana around his head.”

The suspect fled the scene on foot toward Londonderry Road. Londonderry and Derry K-9 units searched an extensive area around the gas station but were unable to find the suspect. Detectives became involved in the case and are still investigating the incident.

“We are urging anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident or who may be able to identify the suspect to contact the Londonderry Police Department at 603-432-1118,” Malloy said in an alert. “Tips can also be submitted anonymously through our website.”
