Londonderry Police, SWAT At The Scene Of Incident On Sparhawk Drive
Police were called Wednesday morning for a despondent person; negotiators are speaking to the person who is in the house alone.
LONDONDERRY, NH — Londonderry Police were called to Sparhawk Drive for a despondent person inside a residence on Wednesday.
When Londonderry police arrived, they reported bringing a person out of the house to a safe area. Police reported over radio broadcasts they were setting up a perimeter and evacuating some of the homes in the neighborhood.
Londonderry Fire and EMS were requested to the area but stage away from the scene. Currently, there are two Londonderry ambulances, a fire engine, and a battalion chief.

Londonderry Police requested the activation of the Southern New Hampshire Special Operation Unit which provides specialized negotiators, EMS, and specially trained officers.
Sparhawk Drive is closed to traffic, and neighbors are being kept a significant distance away from the house that appears to be the location of the original call.

Londonderry Police Capt. Patrick Cheetham confirmed the situation was not a hostage incident and they were actively having conversations with the person inside the house.
The road was reopened around 3 p.m.
